Paper accepted in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.

The manuscript "Highly Colored Boron-Doped Thiazolothiazoles from the Reductive Dimerization of Boron Isothiocyanates" (link soon) together with Stephan Hagspiel, Merle Arrowsmith, Alfredo Vargas, Anna Rempel, Alexander Hermann, Tobias Brückner and Holger Braunschweig has just been accepted in Angewandte Chemie International Edition! :) Here we investigate mechanistic, electronic and excited state properties of the CAAC-stabilized BNCS bicycle, which is obtained experimentally by the reductive dimerization of CAAC-BNCS.
